Advanced nitrox diving provides access to Nitrox mixes from 21% oxygen to 50% oxygen for decompression.
The use of multiple mixes of gas in a single dive provides access to safer diving profiles in an extended range of operation.
This program is designed to expand the divers knowledge in the use of Nitrox and instructs divers to maximize their bottom time with limited decompression.
The course introduces the student to equipment and skills which will be built upon in the technical diver courses. Participants will further refine those skills
learned previously. Aimed towards the experienced diver who wishes to take full advantage of nitrox without technical diving exposures.
Lectures outline the safe use and management of multiple gas mixes and gas switches, management and procedures, decompression strategies, as well as
equipment and related skills.
Technical diving basics and equipment requirements are taught in this course. This course forms a foundation for safe decompression diving, as well as a
platform for continuing education into more advanced practices and technical diving.
Advanced Nitrox is most often taken in conjunction with Decompression Procedures
Advance Nitrox is a prerequisite to Technical Nitrox, Rebreather and Adv. Recreational Trimix
