Expedition Helium& Expedition Oxygen Analyzer Combination

$ 999 USD

Item: ROA-01-04

The He/O2 Combo consists of our popular Compact set of the Expedition Oxygen Analyzer and the Expedition Helium Analyzer. They can be used independently or
connected together to provide both oxygen and helium readings at the same time.

Expedition Helium Analyzer

The OxyCheq Expedition Helium Analyzer is our most recent analyzer.  It is small, very portable,  very accurate and extremely easy to use. Our success in portable O2
analyzers prompted the design of a portable helium analyzer.  We are pleased to announce the Expedition He Analyzer to our line of high performance analyzers.

The Expedition He Analyzer is designed to measure the helium content of a mixed gas to an accuracy of +/- 1%. The basis of operation is to measure the sample gas
against a known mixture (reference gas) and calculate the difference in absorption.  This is then calculated against a know change resulting in significant accuracy when
measuring the unknown gas (in this case helium).

The Expedition He  Analyzer technique is Patent Pending on a World Wide basis in that it represents a new and more effective approach to measuring helium (and other
specific gases) in air or an appropriate gas mixture.

The monitor is small, easy to use with a rechargeable battery system guarantying long life and accurate performance.  The monitor is temperature compensated to
assure little to no drift in the measurement.  Unlike other products that must rely on very accurate flow control, temperature control, and specific gas volume, the
Expedition Helium Analyzer requires a reasonable gas flow through the sensor, and a one-minute shunt to acquire accurate results over and over again.

The Expedition He  Analyzer can easily be connected in line with one of our Expedition Oxygen Analyzers (Expedition or Expedition-X) to measure both helium and oxygen
concentrations simultaneously. Simplicity is the key to accurate and effective utilization.  The position of the analyzer is not important for accurate results.  It need not be
placed on a flat surface, in fact it can be hand held or mounted on a wall and still acquire accurate results. The sensor life expectancy of the Helium Analyzer is estimated
well beyond ten years.  The battery pack (several years life expectancy) and sophisticated smart charger are designed so that maintenance is minimal. If you have tried
the Oxycheq Expedition Oxygen Analyzer and found it to out perform its competitors, you will be more than pleased with the results with the Expedition Helium Analyzer. It
is small in size (2½" X 3½" X 2½" including the sensor) and weighs less than 7 ounces and that makes it great when traveling.  The charger would only be used when
recharging the batteries or if wall mounted and being used in a blending system.

Just like the Expedition O2 Analyzer, the Expedition He Analyzer was designed for easy operator use.  Flow rate and orientation is not a concern.  Once gas is flowing
through the sensor cap, turn the analyzer on, click the sensor cap to capture the gas, and in a minute you will have an accurate reading.

The electronics are enclosed  a compact, sturdy, custom molded ABS case.  The case is anti-static, scratch and UV resistant.

The "Expedition" comes with a deluxe carrying case with foam cutouts to protect your investment.  It also has room for other items such as the optional remote flow
restrictor, batteries, and an Expedition O2 Analyzer.

Technical divers, boat operations and dive shops will truly appreciate the compact size, durability, performance, ease of operation, reliability and low maintenance of the
Expedition He Analyzer.

We believe that we have set a new standard in value, performance,  and quality for oxygen analyzers for the diving community.

Expedition Oxygen Analyzer

We heard they wanted a durable, compact oxygen analyzer with a user replaceable sensor, readily available batteries, a  splash-proof case and and at a reasonable
price.  With the introduction of the OxyCheq Expedition Oxygen Analyzer, we met this criteria and more. We designed an electronic circuit that is easy to calibrate  and
uses a long life sensor.  We used the newest and most reliable parts made and enclosed the electronics and sensor in a compact, sturdy, custom molded ABS case.
The case, digital panel meter, potentiometer, on/off switch, and sensor, are sealed to protect the electronics inside the enclosure from harsh elements. It is splash-proof.

The "Expedition" comes with a deluxe carrying case with foam cutouts to protect your investment.  It also has room for other items such as the optional remote flow
restrictor, batteries, or a sensor. Both enriched air divers and technical divers will truly appreciate the compact size, durability, performance, ease of operation, reliability
and sensor life. We believe that we have set a new standard in performance, price and quality for oxygen analyzers for the diving community.

The OxyCheq Expedition Oxygen Analyzer uses a removable cap with a built-in flow restrictor.  Although not necessary, you can also attach a 2-3 lpm flow restrictor to the
sensor cap/flow restrictor if desired.

Calibration can be made in air or pure oxygen and takes seconds.  Once the sensor is calibrated, analyzing gas is easy. The user simply opens the cylinder valve until a
slow, constant hiss is heard, places the sensor cap restrictor over the  gas, and waits for a constant reading.  The case and cap are extremely durable and there are no
pliable rings to wear out or parts to break off.  The sensor cap/restrictor also has the ability to sense gas remotely with an optional flow restrictor that can connect to a low
pressure bc hose.

Changing the sensor or batteries is very easy.  When you remove the back of our case, all of the electronics are located on the front half of the case.  There are no wires
attaching the back to the front that can result in strains on the leads when replacing the sensor or batteries.

In limited light conditions and if desired, the user can flip on the backlight.

The OxyCheq Expedition Oxygen Analyzer was designed with simplicity in mind.  Once out of the box, the average user will be able to sample gas in minutes.

The "Expedition" was built to last and perform ... and it does.  We did not take short cuts or use inferior parts to lower the quality of this unit, we simply took less profit.
OxyCheq is known for our personal service and attention, we built the "Expedition" for you and have no doubt you will be extremely pleased with your purchase of this
oxygen analyzer.
